The weather's been heating up ridiculously fast down here. That's Sydney, Australia for those of you who don't know! I've packed away most of my jumpers now and every last one of my coats. Summers here really aren't very forgiving, so I probably won't see my favourite parka for a good five months. But what an Australian summer can promise is many-a-day to prance around in a pair of shorts. Oh, and sunglasses (or "sunnies" for you fellow Aussies out there!)
Speaking of which, Firmoo.com kindly sent me a pair of my choice to show you lovely lot! Naturally, I went for (what I think was) their funkiest pair -- the classic, perfectly rounded shape. Would you believe someone like me (ie. someone who owns somewhere around ten pairs of sunnies) didn't have this Lennon-esque shape in their collection yet?
Now, this post is a little delayed since the package arrived a week ago, but anyone who follows me on Twitter can tell you I've been cut off from the cyber world for a couple of days.
Back to the glasses - they're amazing. The darkness is just right and (not that you should do this, but) I can look directly at the sun, no problem! Furthermore, the nice quality of the frames is really obvious - especially when I compare them to my £2.50 purchases from Primark or $9 market-bought ones.
To have a nose at the website for yuhselves, click here. I'm drooling over this pair in their designer collection (tortoiseshell, please!) - what utter vintage charm, am I right?
And the shoes? If you remember in my last post, I mentioned I also chose a pair of shoes from SwayChic.com - here they are, in all their studded glory! I found them uncomfortable the first day I wore them, not going to lie, but it turns out they just needed a little breaking in. I wore them for eight hours of straight standing yesterday just fine!
Hope you're all planning an as-adventurous and outdoorsy weekend as I am! Just kidding, that would mean you'll be in front of your laptop for most of it.
