adios, 2012!

I had a bit of an internal shock-attack when Richard and I were talking about how quickly the years seem to be flying by lately. It only seems like a couple of months ago, not almost a whole year ago, that I left England to move back here -- but it was when Richard playfully remarked, "You turn 23 this year, you old thing!" that my heart actually palpitated a little.

Late December is a busy time for me. As with the majority of you lover-ly readers, I had a pretty enjoyable Christmas and New Year's Eve... but I also turned 22 (two little ducks, as I've been told?) on Saturday! I still feel 19, but t'was worth a mention, anyway. Now I have to go changing my "about me" so it doesn't seem like I'm lying about my age, pretending I'm 21 the way some 50-year-olds do.

Amazing how one's style can change, huh? Though I seem to have gone back and forth between styles - right now I'm rocking a pretty bohemian ensemble.

Although I tend to collect a fair few New Year's Resolutions every year, I think my main one this year is to really succeed at design school (assuming I even get in! This application's driving me insane!). Second is to make more of an effort to see friends, especially my oldest and dearest ones. Those two are pretty conflicting resolutions, I've just gathered.
