city tribes

You know, I have all the greatest intentions of being organised with this blog and taking outfit photos before scheduling posts days in advance, but sometimes this thing called life just gets in the way. The weeks have flown by and I now find myself reminding myself that today is the last, complete and actual day off that I'll have for a long, long time. Why? Semester 1 of Whitehouse begins tomorrow! To simply state that I'm excited is an (for lack of a less-overused word) understatement. Orientation was last Thursday and Friday and being surrounded by so many like-minded people within the space of 48 hours was something else. Attending an institute completely focused on the one thing I can say I've been truly passionate about my entire life (design) (when I say life, I'm not kidding -- my ridiculously personalised student diaries can attest to this) is exactly what I need after another half-a-year of boring routine.

I'm really looking forward to sharing with you my experience over the next three years studying a Bachelor of Design in Styling and Creative Direction (I mean, how awesome does that course sound? Right)

Going back to my original point about taking pictures far in advance, this outfit is from some point last week. I think I just went to work that day, but I can't really remember. The important thing is, I dug up a loose jacket I haven't worn in years and managed to work it back into my style. That alone would be enough to call that day productive, I say!

The course sounds really interesting. I hope you'll talk about it and share what kind of things it involves. If I had all the time and money in the world I would like to do something like that for the fun.
